English Teacher – Special School (SEMH) – East London
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced English Teacher to join a special school in East London.
The school supports pupils with a range of special educational needs and disabilities, including SEMH needs. Many students have experienced disrupted education due to exclusion or significant challenges in mainstream settings.

Key responsibilities:
- Delivering engaging English lessons tailored to individual needs
- Supporting students with significant barriers to learning
- Building positive relationships to encourage engagement and progress
- Contributing to a supportive and inclusive school environment
Requirements:
- QTS and strong subject knowledge in English
- Experience working with SEMH or complex needs (special school, PRU or alternative provision)
- Ability to engage and motivate vulnerable learners
- Creative, patient and resilient approach
