Learning Mentor – PRU / Alternative Provision (SEMH) – North London
We are seeking a Learning Mentor to join an Alternative Provision/PRU in North London, supporting pupils aged 11–16 who have been excluded from mainstream education.

- Supporting behaviour and engagement both in and out of the classroom
- Building strong, trusting relationships with students
- Encouraging pupils to manage their emotions and re-engage with learning
- Working as part of a wider, therapeutic and supportive team
Requirements:
- Experience working with SEMH or challenging behaviour (PRU, alternative provision or mainstream)
- Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills
- Ability to motivate and engage disengaged learners
- Team player with a proactive and positive approach
This is a full-time role and candidates should be able to commit for the full academic year.
The provision offers a supportive environment with strong leadership and a collaborative team focused on achieving positive outcomes for students.
If you have relevant experience and are looking for a rewarding role for the upcoming academic year, please send your CV to apply.
