SEN Teacher | Primary School | SEND Resource Base | September Start

SEN teacher required for the SEND resource base of a primary school in Hackney.

This is an exciting role working with children with complex needs, mostly pre-verbal ASD, Global Development Delay and downs syndrome.

They are mainly learning and thinking at an 18-24 month level of development, so early years experience is very beneficial to the role.

Long term SEN Teacher role within specialist provision to start September for the whole academic year
Small Class of 7 full-time children
Excellent support from SLT and SENCO
Experienced HLTA full-time within the class
Benefit from highly skilled teaching assistant team
Well-resourced and funded SEN provision

Applicants should be qualified teachers with good experience and knowledge of special education needs, especially complex needs and non-verbal children and previous experience within a special school or specialist provision.
