SENCO – Secondary School (11–16) – Lambeth – September Start
We are working with a welcoming and well-led secondary school in Lambeth seeking a SENCO to join them from September.
This is an excellent opportunity to take on a well-established SEN provision, stepping into a role with strong foundations following the promotion of a long-standing SENCO.
The Role:
- Leading SEN provision across an 11–16 secondary school
- Managing and reviewing EHCPs and coordinating annual reviews
- Line managing and developing a team of Teaching Assistants
- Working closely with SLT, teachers, parents, and external agencies
- Driving inclusive practice and supporting staff with SEN strategies
- Ensuring compliance with statutory SEN requirements

The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher (QTS or equivalent)
- Experience working with SEN in a secondary setting
- Strong knowledge of EHCP processes and statutory requirements
- Previous leadership or line management experience desirable
- SENCO qualification (NASENCO) or willingness to complete it
- Organised, proactive, and committed to inclusive education
