A high-performing secondary school in Lambeth is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Sociology Teacher to join their Humanities department on a long term basis. The role is available for an immediate start.

This position is suitable for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers looking to develop within a supportive and well-established school environment.

The Role

• Teach Sociology across Key Stages 4 and 5
• Deliver Religious Education at Key Stage 3 (and potentially KS4)
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour and academic achievement
• Contribute to curriculum development within the Humanities department
• Participate in extra-curricular activities and wider school life

The Ideal Candidate

• Qualified Teacher Status
• Degree in Sociology or related subject
• Ability to teach Sociology confidently, ideally to A Level
• Ability to teach Religious Education at KS3
• Strong classroom management and high expectations
• Motivated and committed to professional development
