Teaching Assistant | East London | 11-16 year olds | EBD/SEMH
Are you a teaching Assistant with experience of working with 11-16 year olds with social, emotional and mental health difficulties (SEMH)?
We are looking for an experienced Teaching assistant to work within a specialist ARP provision within a mainstream school starting at the end of April. The successful Teaching Assistant must have experience working with challenging young people who have social, emotional and mental health difficulties.

** Supportive Senior Leadership Team and excellent behaviour systems in place
** Suitable for Teaching Assistant with previous experience working with challenging teenagers
Previous youth work or learning mentor experience is beneficial to this role. Most importantly you should be a teaching assistant who is passionate about working with SEMH learners and consider that you can make a difference to their lives.
The role will involve working 1:1 support and small group intervention work with 11-16 students in class and out of class. Part of the role will involve some support within the nurture group in KS3.
