Deputy SENCO required for a mainstream secondary school in South-East London to start in September.

  • SEN teacher to small groups of students
  • Take charge of team of 3 HLTAs and 8 LSAs
  • Development of SEN provision and oversight of the day-to-day operations.
  • Raising the achievement of SEN students to ensure they reach their full potential.
  • Monitoring and evaluating the progress of students with SEN
  • Supporting teachers in implementing strategies for SEN students

This role would suit a mainstream or SEN Teacher looking to develop their career and perhaps move into a SENCO role in the future. Here are some of the benefits of taking up the role:
