We are working with a successful and well-regarded secondary school in South London seeking an enthusiastic Sociology Teacher for a permanent September start.

The school is a mixed comprehensive with a strong academic record at both GCSE and A Level, and Social Sciences continue to be an extremely popular subject area among students. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive department within a school known for its positive culture, strong leadership, and commitment to high standards.

The successful candidate will:

  • Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
  • Have experience teaching Sociology across KS4 and KS5
  • Be a confident and engaging classroom practitioner
  • Demonstrate a strong track record of supporting student progress and achievement
  • Be passionate about delivering high-quality Social Sciences education

The ability to teach A Level Psychology would be advantageous, although this is not essential.
