A forward-thinking secondary school in East London is seeking an ambitious and talented Maths Teacher to join their team from September 2026, with the opportunity to take on a Second in Charge (2iC) position within the department.

Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
- Support the Head of Department in leading and developing the Maths team
- Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental strategy
- Monitor and track student progress, driving strong outcomes
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Minimum 3 years’ UK teaching experience
- Strong track record of raising attainment
- Confident classroom practitioner with excellent behaviour management
- Ambition to progress into leadership
- Experience teaching Maths at KS5 is desirable
