A welcoming primary school in Havering is seeking a passionate and skilled SEN Teacher to join its specialist autism provision. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated teacher to work within a well-supported specialist setting, helping children with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) access a highly personalised and nurturing education.
The provision is supported by an experienced multidisciplinary team and offers a structured, inclusive environment where pupils are encouraged to develop socially, emotionally and academically at their own pace.
The Role:
• Full-time SEN Teacher position within a specialist autism provision
• Working with primary-aged pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
• Planning and delivering a creative, tailored curriculum to meet individual needs
• Supporting communication, sensory regulation and social development
• Leading and guiding Teaching Assistants within the classroom
• Working closely with parents, external agencies and the wider school team
• Contributing to EHCP reviews, annual reviews and pupil progress planning

The Ideal Candidate:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience working with children with autism and additional needs
• Background in SEN or primary education, ideally within a specialist setting
• Strong understanding of communication and behaviour support strategies
• Creative, patient and committed to inclusive education
• Able to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
