The SEN Teacher Role
- Class Teacher within the primary department of a specialist SEND school
- Teaching pupils with severe learning difficulties (SLD) and complex needs
- Delivering engaging, highly differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs
- Working closely with therapists, teaching assistants and families to support pupil progress
- Creating a positive, structured and inclusive learning environment
- Contributing to EHCP outcomes, assessments and annual reviews

The Ideal SEN Teacher
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Primary or Secondary trained teacher
- Experience teaching pupils with SLD, PMLD or complex learning needs
- Strong understanding of personalised learning and differentiated teaching approaches
- Experience working within a special school or specialist SEND setting desirable
- Passionate about improving outcomes for children with additional needs
