A forward-thinking secondary school in East London is seeking an ambitious and talented Maths Teacher to join their team from September 2026, with the opportunity to take on a Second in Charge (2iC) position within the department.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
  • Support the Head of Department in leading and developing the Maths team
  • Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental strategy
  • Monitor and track student progress, driving strong outcomes
  • Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Minimum 3 years’ UK teaching experience
  • Strong track record of raising attainment
  • Confident classroom practitioner with excellent behaviour management
  • Ambition to progress into leadership
  • Experience teaching Maths at KS5 is desirable
